I can't log into chat.

When I try to log in, it says, "Guest can't login now!" Do I have to set an account up or something?

I just logged in for a few minutes. Minnie and mrmonsoon are in there having a good ole' time. Not sure what the issue may be. (?)

Are you using your ATS username and password? (case sensitive)

Oh, and it's 200 posts not 2000.

 

Ok, I logged out from the site, logged back in. Went to ATS chat, tried to log in and it says, "The user name does not exist!"

Ah, so I'm not going crazy! I have also been getting the 'user name does not exist' message when trying to log in. At the suggestion of a mod I deleted all my cookies and cache/temp files yet still the same thing.

Just a suggestion here. I use Firefox for ats. Works perfectly, except for chat. I can't get chat to work with FireFox for some reason. So I launch the chat in IE instead. Works fine. You may want to try that, if you're using FireFox.

Nope, user name doesn't exist in Firefox or IE.

I use firefox and mine is fine - was in there a few minutes back having a nosey.

I wish this feature was used more.

Hrm this is definitely weird, I tried Firefox in both windows and linux as well as Opera and IE in windows all with the same result. I even upgraded flash on the off chance that it was some problem with the installed version but that didn't change anything either.

I was in chat yesterday. Apparently there was a Mason ritual going on and someone pulled out a dagger so I fled.

Is the error message I'm getting as well.

I get that error with Firefox and Opera.

When you try to log in to chat, do you use correct caps? I believe the login is case sensitive...

I figured I would post here to bump this again as I still cannot get into chat even after trying all the suggestions so far and then some. Is it safe to assume that this is not a problem that ATS staff are worried about, or just not enough time to get around to checking it out further?
