Well, the Japanese are indulging in Ostrich on a more regular basis apparently, since the occurence of Mad Cow in American Beef and Avian Flu in Asian
Poultry, as well as American poultry now. I've not heard of any diseases in them. Apparently it tastes just like beef, with less fat and gristle.
