SO im starting this thread in response to people who think events like the mississippi bridge collapse was the result of a terrorist attack...

Terrorism is supposed to strike fear into the hearts of its victims... even narrower... terrorism can be defined as

unlawful violence or other unlawful harmful acts committed (or threatened) against civilians by groups or persons for political or other ideological goals.[1] Most definitions of terrorism include only those acts which are intended to create fear or "terror", are perpetrated for an ideological goal (as opposed to a lone attack), and deliberately target non-combatants.

With the attacks on 9/11, whether the acts were govt. or Taliban orchistrated, the attacts can be defined as terrorsim because we know that planes flew into the WTCs... therefore, we KNOW that the attacks were a direct cause of people... orchistrated as they were, we can conclude that all the attacks came from a certain group of people...

THEREFORE>>> if and when another terrorist attack comes, we will KNOW that it was directly caused by people... We wont think that it could possibly be from bad maintinance, or poorly built structures, or whatever could be the cause... a terrorist attack will be known to all that the attack was meant to create fear, panic, disorder, and that it was deliberatly caused by someone or someones...

or i suppose the govt. could just cover them up... but then what would they have to profit from that... whatever the next attack is, i will assume we will blame Iran or N.Korea or some other country we want to invade...
