Does anyone here believe if we were directly attacked with all of our money, and troops over seas that we would have the manpower to fight back and save our country from being overrun?

I think we'd bring the boys back home rather quick and I think that we'd know something was coming with enough of an advance notice to get them here before the defecation hit the rotating oscillator.

The amount of troops and machinery needed to successfully invade the US would be of a magnitude that would be noticed rather quickly.

what about your thoughts? You posted the question. What do you think?

Well according to Hillary Clinton it would take months and months and months and months to bring all of our troops home because of the amount of men whom are actually overseas. So any thought of "quickly" bringing them home would be out of the question, and it would cause us to turn to our weaponry for defense.

With the technology, we can possibly fight off an army. China's army? Not in a million years. Iran? ut oh..

Iran is an extremely powerful country and if them and their allies turn abruptly at the US we could be in danger..

We are currently working on a plan to invade Iran (i'm assuming since its in the middle east and we think we own the world), and it could be a dire mistake. We don't even have the troops to fight the war in Iraq, and yet we are trying to pillage forward.

We in no way, shape or form have the manpower to fight a war on our home turf! We would be demolished and the only ones standing would be the ones looking down from their mansion porch ($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$).

www.abovetopsecret.com...

for a war with iran, there's about 12 pages of discussion there, on strategy whos better than who...so on and so forth...

as the previous person said....an army required to invade and destroy all active, reserve and guard units here, would be a noticable move by canada, or mexico....those tricky fatherless sons....

www.bls.gov...

2005
2.6 million people [total]
1.4 million people [active]
1.2 million people [reserve/guard]

169,000 service members were deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom either in or around Iraq in June 2005. An additional 278,000 individuals were stationed outside the United States

so 447000 not in the us, in 2005, you can roughly say thats 20-25% of the total....
