While on there, I noticed a huge building in this little dump of a town in NM. Its not a highschool as there are no fields or anything that resembles a school. Not to mention that it is entirely out of place for the size of this place. The parking lot looks extremely small for the size of the building, and its totally out of place.

If you have GE, I suggest that you try this. Go and see it for yourself. The houses look like trailers and there is nothing there. A grocery store and thats about it.

So here you are, out in the middle of nowhere, literally. These are your neighbors:

(notice the name of one the streets? Sewertown. Appropriate...)

Now to get an idea of the size of the town, here is an overview of the town:

Tiny, right? I mean it had that feel like the town that Randy Quiad lived in, in "Indepence Day". Not one pool to be seen. Nothing. Almost...

Directly across the street from "sewertown" I found this:

(this is where it gets interesting..)

What is this?? Why here, in this litte unassuming town in the middle of nowhere? There isnt anything like this anywhere near here. Seeing how Dulce is the supposed site of so much extraterrestial activity, could this possibly be the begining of larger entrance, say north?

Ah, nothing just some odd shaped road that seemingly leads to nowhere?

Oh, this is starting to make sense (insert sarcasm)

So while Im scouring this little dump of a town, I find this on the east side of "town"

Huh?

What is going on in this little town?

whats odd is google earth put tags on things like this whit hames like "whats this""strange building""ufo maybe?"
i mean why would they admit and interest us more?
ITS STRANGE
i though they would hide all this stuff...not put a tag on them
listen to my words the gov will never want us to find theyr secret facilities or whatever...they better get our attencion elsewhere or put tag ont he facility it self just so we can think naaa this is *** the gov will never put a facility here and BAM!

google didn't put those tags on it, you can create your own informational marks. i agree with chorlton, i think its a casino.

Yes indeed. If you do a check you will find that for some indian tribes it is a source of massive income.

A casino? Theres nothing there. No gas stations, no minimarts, no restaurants. Nothing. Casinos attract buisness. I cant say that its not a casino with 100 percent certainy, as I have no clue what it is, but look around it.

talk about out of place, not to mention out of the way..

Im not feeling it..

oh- one more thing- I really doubt that now that I looked again. Look at the size of the parking lot. I think you can fit more cars in a McDonalds lot, than there. Odd for a such a remote destination.

Something so big, expecting so few and nothing else around it.... eh, its getting harder to swallow.

Ok, I just googled "casinos dulce new mexico" and my results said that there is indeed one..... on Highway 550. Nothing listed for that address.

Could it be the Best Western Jicarilla Inn and Casino?

Edit: maybe not, its address is:

233 JICARILLA BOULEVARD
DULCE, NEW MEXICO 87528
UNITED STATES

I don't think so, check this out.

It's on Narrow Gauge Road, just north of Narrow Guage Street.

That thing is on the Street

The more I look into it, the less Im prone to think that this is casino. Defintitly not a bestwestern. No reason to be there at all, and whats with the roads to the north, not to mention that white thing in the east.

The whole overview of this place doesnt make any sense.

could be

Apache Nugget Casino
Narrow Gauge Street
Dulce, New Mexico 87528

its interesting that google earth misspelled "gauge" as gage, but im still leaning towards a casino with a secret underground... parking lot

hmm, I dont think they could have picked a worse spot. It still doesnt tell me what that white blob looking thing is and whats up with that weird road to the north. Somethings not right here.

Well, wiki talks of a secret underground base nearby ... with no direct evidence. Dulce Base

I have been to a 'indian' casino ... let me tell you, unless there is underground parking, I seriously doubt it to be so.

I am considering it to be a school ... one of the information sites listed 40% of the population being under 18 ... population is around 2500 ... though that is big for a school ... all of the schools are in one place (elementary, middle, high). It also has student recreational facilities ... I don't have the direct links, but I searched an awful lot to get this information ... but here is a link to a structural steel manufacturer that has a picture of what I believe to be the 'dome' area ... it is the picture at the bottom of the page. school structure To me, the school would make the most sense, since they all have the same address. There is even a dorm of sorts in the city, which could be included in this structure.

It is far away from a lot of things ... hospitals, bigger cities ... it would be odd for a large casino in that respect as well.

I admit it seems odd for the area, but, i try not to jump to conclusions such as that. I even read an article about people looking for ufos and questioning the locals who made no direct reference to the building, but mentioned new developments including the school. They actually think the ufo and underground base may have been a cover for storage of nuclear waste in the underground caves.

The search was more interesting than I thought, but, nothing really fruitful either.

I would say that white spot is a camera anomaly, though the shadow it has is weird, someone with experience with such things may have a practical explanation ... I would say that would be the oddest ufo shape I have ever saw

oh ... and I meant to mention ... that could be a hiking/biking trail. We have some road sized trails here for people to walk on ... it wouldn't be much of a stretch for people to want to have a scenic walk ... or even have a dirt bike ATV track to play on (we have a dirt track here as well) ... I am not an avid debunker, in fact, more of a wishful believer, but I think this is easily explained.

Keep looking, there is a lot of earth to cover, and I am sure some things of importance are missed.

Doesn't anyone search these boards anymore? Isn't that rule one with ANY board?

Anyway, I'm FROM Dulce. I'm a member of the Jicarilla Apache Tribe. Yes there is a casino there and that's not it.

It's the new tribal offices building. Our main administration is there. I have a few relatives who work there.

As far as casinos on reservations, I don't understand how anyone can guess it's against our 'beliefs' when it's just a business designed to create jobs and bring outside income onto an otherwise unpopulated place.

I'm guessing if you wanted to look at just about any small town on GE and wanted to find evidence of nefarious things you would make what you see fit what you think.
