Well, I suppose I would say these:

Iron Maiden: Can I play With Madness

Muse, Knights of Cydonia, but they'll probably better it sometime
Possibly one of the craziest videos too

Green Day: Wake me up when September Ends
Interesting video

Ooh, that is a fantastic song, but Dirty Work gets my vote.

Both great songs, hard to put a label on either

Too true, DW. This group had so many quality songs that made the air that it's difficult to choose just one as their best. Every song they did was special in it's own way. Dirty Work is an excellent example but you could just as easily have said, Deacon Blues or Kid Charlemagne and still been in the ball park.

If there is one word I could use to describe the quality and freshness of their music it would be "Consistent". "nuff said!

Lot of great choices so far, hard to argue against any of them.

Skid Row-I Remember You, this song just completely showcases Sebs vocals.

Alice in Chains - Rooster, likewise Laynes vocals in this song.

Laynes vocals are great in Rooster,I reckon this is their best song though

I'm afraid I must disagree with you. If I were picking the best songs for the bands you mentioned it would go like this"

REM - Losing my religion
Beatles - A Day in the life
Roy Orbison - Crying
RHCP - Give it away
Live - I alone

Not that my choices are more valid than yours, I just felt the need to offer some alternative choices.

Just curious if you've heard Faith No More's version of War Pigs. I actually like it better than the original, but that's just personal taste I suppose.

Here are some more from me, 'cause I'm bored.

Metallica - Sanitarium
Our Lady Peace - Life
Pixies - Where is My Mind
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun
Alice in Chains - No Excuses
Pearl Jam - Alive

I'd post videos as well, but I can't at work.

More to come later.
