I got a new Dell laptop a week or so ago and am somewhat happy with it (wish I could have afforded a Mac!). Vista looks good, but it's just as buggy if not a lot more than XP.

But anyway, today something strange has happened twice. The first time I was checking my mail with Windows Mail and a part of some song played for like less than a sounds like Evanescence's Bring Me To Life. It happened again as I checked uTorrent. I think it was the same clip.

I don't think it's a website, as only one of the times did I have a browser open. It's not my media player because the second time I was playing a song and the clip overlapped it. It's really really weird. Anyone know what's going on?

Here are some specs if they help:

Dell Inspiron 1420
Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 (2.0ghz/4mb cache)
2gb ram
160gb hdd

It did it again! Let's see...this time it was just as I opened ATS, and it indeed was that Evanescence song.

I really need to know what the hell is going

does it say "wake me up!" cause mine does that too, but thats only because someone on my AIM friends list signs on or off. maybe yours plays for the same reason?
