Pentagon sold F-14 plane parts to Iran

The Pentagon has mistakenly sold the public about 1400 aircraft parts that Iran is known to be seeking for its ageing fleet of US F-14 "Tomcat" fighter planes, according to a government report.

The Pentagon suspended the sale of all F-14 related parts, including simple nuts and bolts, in January. But the GAO said the aircraft parts were sold to unidentified buyers in February.

Oh I just love this! In the meantime, send Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia a military aid package worth more than $US43, later sell mistakenly plane parts to Iran (which is the only country that uses F-14 jets in their air force) - but on the other hand accuse Russia, that they are arming a rouge state.
