'Crowd Farm' Converts Footsteps into Electricity

This is a really good idea, getting energy from peoples footsteps! Special floor tiles are used so when people step on them, they rub up against each other creating an electrical charge. I like this technology because it's simple yet brilliant. This wouldn't work very well in private homes, but seems very promising for comercial use because a lot of human traffic is needed to generate a decent amount of power.

They should pave roads with this technology, we would be able to light our streets up for free. There are so many uses for something like this.
