Yes I sugest if you want a really good laugh go and look at James Casbolts website where he begs for money.

But are you so devoid of guests you have to have an acknowledged hoaxer and liar on your show? I mean if you are going to do that why not ask Geoffery Archer, at least his lies are semi believable
His photos and allegations have been debunked and proven to be hoaxes, several times on this website.
To believe that Casbolt was involved in drug trafficking for MI6 when he was nearly 18 is total folly in itself. He gives not one jot of evidence or proof of his involvement and one look at the pitiable junk he puts on his website show he wouldnt have a hope in hell of running Mars bars let alone drugs. He's a total disaster area, even his mad mate Barry King wont have anything to do with him now.

But Chorlton - do you have any FIRM evidence to back up your claims that he is liar and hoaxer?

Well lets reverse the question shall we. Does he have any FIRM evidence of his claims, as it is he who is making the claims and he who should provide the evidence? The answer is no, he has provided no proof.

He posted two series of photos on his website. The first set were debunkend as being photoshopped and altered pics (though I didnt see them) However the second set he posted (around 10 photographs) He describes as being 'elevators to DUMB maglev and god only knows what other bizarre explanations, yet it was quite obvious that with just a simple look at Google that they were indeed pictures of the Stockholm subway system. His explanations for these photos were that they were given to him by someone from the 'NSA' at great danger to his life. How can you give someone who posts such obvious lies any credibility.
A simple check of his details shows he would have been around 18 when he did his 'so called' drug dealing for MI6. Believable? no, utter rubbish. The man is mentally incompetent and has serous psychological issues.

He puts up a website of the most outrageous statements without offering one shred of proof, just lots and lots of stories then pages selling CD's and begging attempts for money.

Hey its your show, you will be the one losing credibility for having an idiot on it.

Hi Chorlton

One thing my show is renowned for the world over, is that we give everyone the chance to air their views without ridicule by the presenter, the public at large however may confront the guest with questions to assert an opinion one way or another, so you will have your chance to question Mr Casbolt on the night of the interview.

It is not for me to decide whether the guy is genuine or not, he is making some fairly outrageous claims and I am offering him the chance to put those claims out through a world media channel and have the audience as the jury. If you have listened to my show before, you will know that the audience soon make their own minds up, as they did with the "Goddess Sofia" recently!

I tend to keep a very open mind, as some of the seemingly most ridiculous claims in the past have actually been found to contain at least some truths and the only way those truths can be put out to the masses is through shows like mine and other similar programmes aired around the world.

As for whether James Casbolt (apparently an anagram of scam job tales!) ever actually worked for MI6 - we'll have to wait until the night of the show I guess!

All the best

Ross

Aah yes the wonderful "Goddess Sofia"...bless her. I remember her well....is she from Barking....sounded barking mad to me

Yet good or bad, sane or mad they all get a fair hearing. I tell you boss for one I could not do your job. With my inherent bias, I could not help but be confrontational with some of the guests and their, to me, loony toon ideas.

Besides I could not afford the time off work having my sides continually re-stitched up...from having them split listening to some of them

As you say Ross, if people don't like the stuff the guests spout, there is nothing to stop them sending questions to the show. I know from past shows it is an open forum, you do not bulk at asking embarrassing questions.

NTW is one of the few venues for this kind of thing. If I have to listen to (what I consider) a few loonies every now and then, just to hear that intriguing thought every now than then, then why not? It is certainly better than the "Paranormal Forum" at ATS...lunacy rules there for sure

Thanks Allah - and yes I too feel it's worth hearing people out and as you rightly say. every now and again a nugget of real interest creeps through and surprises the hell out of us!

What I always think when I present the show, is that I have personally witnessed some very strange phenomena in my time, stuff that no-one else would believe if they hadn't actually been there with me at the time, so how can I be foolish enough to call others "mad" for their theories and stories which may be just as true, yet sound just as mad!

I think it was Arthur C Clarke who once said "the universe isn't only stranger than we imagine, but stranger than we CAN imagine".

Powers like Governments, intelligence agencies and the rest can make anyone sound mad or provide evidence to make them look like liars, but how do we know for sure that they are NOT actually telling the truth?

Yes for sure its those "nuggets"...makes it worthwhile.

I see it as most processes in life...we sort wheat from chaff!! Just some peoples chaff seems to be another's wheat

As for witnessing weird phenomena. Mmm...I was a total skeptic...perhaps cynic at one stage. Totally scoffing any "weirdy, new age or spiritual bollix". But I have witnessed a few "odd" things over the years, things that I could not put down to everyday happenings and "known" science.

I have stood back a bit from my "spiritual" self, for now, and am trying to rationalise things a bit more. It does seem that in many cases people have to believe.. Now whether that belief makes you delusional and open to some weird brain chemistry or whether its some kind of positive reinforcement or amplification preparing the way for "other realities" I am not sure but am open minded enough to find ut.

Mr Clarkes quote is quite correct.

Yes the administrations have the ability to make anything sound mad...and society believes madness must be wrong!!

But even science should look back to those times when the mainstream doubted things that are facts today. Things that were not understood by science of the day, doubtless electricity and magnetism were paranormal once and talk of the Earth orbiting the Sun was the work of the Devi

I don't fall for alot of it....but the fact the Earth was shown not be flat...could mean I am wrong!!!

Suspect MI6 have the odd bent one, but also infiltrate drugs rings, which does implicate them.......

Redled - Well I guess that MI6 have to get their huge funding from somewhere lol!

Allah - I believe that 95% of all phenomena reported to me has a logical and rational explanation, but it's that other 5% that intrigues me. Remember the "paranormal" is only that which we cannot currently call "normal". Electricity may have once been deemed paranormal until scientifically explained and understood.

I have wondered about this. I know we can't really base our judgement on other peoples behaviour, morals and motivation on our own failings and bias etc but the temptation for anyone must surely be there?

I mean, for example, in order to work deep, say in a high value drugs operation, you must have to get dirty to avert any suspicion. Surely you must be tip toeing into the seedier parts of mankind.

You do hear snippets of undercover guys who say that just about got away without doing anything too dodgy. But I can't believe that to be always the case. There must be situations where either the operative was crap and "disappeared" or they "Done the deed"....whatever that is, a bank job, drug trafficking or an execution? The potential for turning must be there.

Thing is they may not even think there is anything wrong in it...ends justify the means. It reminds me of a few years ago some detectives spent days looking through a hole in a ceiling to catch a bloke who was importuning and glory holing.

When I heard of the case I could not believe they wasted so much time on some lonely bloke getting his jollies. As perverse as I may think his activity was I found the coppers behaviour even worse. Glory holers don't cause me any grief. If I go to a #ter and there is a hole in the wall I block it.....that is a positive signal "Not for sale." But to think that whether or not you are guilty some pervert is in the ceiling looking at your dick..makes me sick. If I remember, comments were made about the coppers activities in court. Can't remember the outcome. It really reminds of that inept Inspector in the TV series "Operation Good Guys".

So as I see it many "naughty" activities have links to other such activities. Drug running and Pornography come to mind. There is also talk of gun running, terrorism and drugs.

I have heard speculation that government bodies and black ops fund activities with money disguised as dodgy money, to hide the funding. If that is the case, there is a blurring and a possibility of abuse.
We do not know what our administrations and agencies do "In our name" and some strange bedfellows have come about every now and then. Wasn't there something about the CIA helping the Taliban against the Soviets? Look at things now!!

Its like arms sales. An associate of mine was telling me that in the Falklands the Argentinians had the more up to date version of a weapon system that the Brits had sold them!!! I think it was an Army portable missile system. They don't know who the enemy of tomorrow is, so they will deal with anyone!!!

I do wonder where the hell the UK is going now, with the announcement of two huge (by British standards) aircraft carriers. I really had hoped they had learned to keep their noses out of other peoples business...but no.

Yeah, I am sure there is abuse. What controls and sanctions can you have on these people? A hope that their psychological profile was right?

Strewth, I am one of the most boringly square people you could meet. I have never done anyone any harm (well knowingly) and I treat people pretty well..if the shop gives me too much change...I give it back. Fate is testing me!!! You should see the face of the cashiers

But if the opportunity to have my own tropical island with all the beautiful girls my tongue could handle came my way....mmm...sign me up
