Salutations from Mr Jackdaw

Like many here, I finally joined after an inordinate amount of time had been spent watching some posts here. This is an interesting site; I'm sure it will be an excellent experience for me, as I've never been part of an online community before.

A bit about myself; there are, unfortunately, no accolades to be learned of. I have no degrees worth mentioning; most of my skills are self-taught. To that end, I'm a graphic artist and a musician -- and my third book comes out in Fall '07. I call myself a Jack of a few trades
Other interests include the UFO phenomenon, and philosophy.

I look forward to making your acquaintance here. I'm sure we will have much to learn from each other.
