Lets hope this will have more success than the others.
But i would prefer more concentration on either putting humans on the Moon and build a Space station, or, putting humans on Mars

NASA will never tell us anything anyway. I heard hoogland on c2c last night and he tried to get excited by the launch, but does nasa ever tell us anything, i doubt it.

Then why are they telling us about this launch also?
They could have just said, they are testing a rocket and no one would have known. I think its foolish to tell everyone about the mission's objectives, when you are trying to keep the result secret.

how many decades, and how many probes by both the USA & the former USSR,
has it taken for the scientists & engineers @ NASA to try to land a craft where the water-ice is located .... At a polar region.
doh !.... they finally woke up & smelled the coffee.

It will be several decades before manned missions to Mars are economical. Bots are a lot cheaper to send right now.

I just hope this one makes orbit.
