WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A U.S. intelligence court earlier this year secretly struck down a key element of President George W. Bush's warrantless spying program, The Washington Post reported in its Friday edition.

The decision is one reason Congress is trying to give legal authorization to the spying program in fevered negotiations with the Bush administration this week, the Post reported.

Now we know why the sudden push in congress eh? Get shot down to do something illegal? Change the law. We truly need regime change here. Im not just talking about Bush et al, but the whole lot of those paracytes and leaches in Washington.

If the government feels someone is a threat, then they should HAVE no problem identifying the reasons to a judge. Mose of these Judges rubber stamp that stuff anyway. We have to chose here? Relativly free society or a police state?
