My exhusband left my three children and me because the joho's convinced him that the world was coming to an end. He wanted to live on paradise earth forever! What a dumbass. I was raised catholic. There was no way on gods green earth that I was going to knock on doors and live in fear my whole life with him. So he left. I now thank him the more i learn about this cult the more I realize they are insecure messed up individuals. They want you to slam the door in their face because that's what happened to jesus when he was preaching the word. So they compare themselves to him and believe they are equal to him. next time invite them in for beer and porn or make them make the sign of the cross and say a hail mary. They will not come to your door if you have wind chimes or an american flag on your porch. Or to the guy in the shower- invite them into the bathroom while you finish!!

Personally, I love chatting with "my own HoJo", Larry. He's a good guy and a decent fellow. I can't accept the particular faith he's selling but I do admire and respect his beliefs.

Typically, Larry comes over on a Saturday morning and, if I'm not working or busy, I'll chat with him a while. I like to question his beliefs and I'm always curious as to what the answer will be. Sometimes, he just floors me with the JoHo tenets. For example, he will argue with me until he's blue in the face that Jesus died on a spike NOT a cross.....as if it even matters. Either way, Jesus dies and is on His way to fulfilling prophecy. But to Larry, it's a distinction that is profound.

Oh well, Larry's still a nice guy.

I guess I'm weird, I like listening to Joho's. I always invite them in, offer food and drink to them. I smile and nod, and let them talk. I tell them my beliefs are more... um personal as I don't belong to a particular church and have no desire to do so. They usually are nice about it and quote scripture.

Come to think of it, though... I haven't seen one in well over a year. Hmm... lol.
