IRS & FBI Agents Search Alaska Senator Ted Stevens' House

www.foxnews.com

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — FBI and Internal Revenue Service agents searched the home of U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens on Monday.

Investigative sources told FOX News that the FBI executed a search warrant at the Girdwood, Alaska, house. Sources would not detail what the search team is looking for, but said agents continued to do extensive work at the property late Monday.

There's not much out there about why, but this certainly can't be a good thing for Stevens. Looks like another Congress scandal might be on the horizon.

I live in Alaska. What you're seeing here is a continuation of the V-co investigation in which several members of the Stevens family were implicated. Seems that son Benjamin was a little too accomodating to V-Co oil services company, and they in turn were much too generous to him. State Legislator Vick Coring (who owns a flooring company ) was possibly trading work on the Stevens home for influence in D.C. Several Legislators have lost their job over this.
