IAEA inspectors visit Iran nuke plant

uk.news.yahoo.com

TEHRAN (Reuters) - U.N. inspectors visited Iran's Arak heavy-water reactor site on Monday, the first such trip since April in a show of Iranian nuclear transparency meant to ward off harsher U.N. sanctions.

Iran agreed to grant International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors fresh access to the complex under construction as part of an "action plan" to defuse suspicions of a covert atom bomb project, as demanded by the U.N. Security Council.

This is the second such inspection to the plant - and the most recent approved of the measures being taken at the LPW reactor (at Bushehr) and that iran was complying with the NPT and IAEA guidlines.

The Nuke business is a funny business, if you join the IAEA-NPT to legalize yourself, you get penalized, but if you are a rouge bandit, you get blessed by the IAEA. Damn the IAEA with their double standards, who are they, anyway. It's cheaper to buy Nukes on the black-market, just like the Dope Business.

This was by no means a full inspection and was mainly symbolic. They didnt visit any of the enrichement facilities which is where the main area of concern is.

This is like inviting someone to come visit your 100 room house and you show them only the bathroom. Yeah you went to the house, but you didnt really see it.

Does that make sense?
