Chip Waggoner, who was reporting for Dallas Fox affiliate KDFW-TV, told his station that the aircraft lost power about 7 a.m. and that pilot Curtis Crump was able to make a hard emergency landing, with the aircraft skidding and then tipped before coming to a stop near a lake dam.

Over the last week, we have had an air show pilot make an emergency landing in Wisconsin, followed by the death of a pilot at the Oshkosh air show. The collision of two news helicopters ending in the tragic deaths of 4. The Dayton-Vectren air show death of pilot LeRoy on Saturday, and today an emergency landing of another news helicopter in Texas.

I posted about the Dayton event in the related linked thread as "alternative news", but it got moved to general. I feel that it not so much coincidence that all these mishaps are occurring rapidly as it is the undoing of reality as we know it. Make of it what you will.
