I have seen this before and I think the general concensus was it was a Pine Martin a member of the weasel family that would be right for the location Europe.
If I remember rightly after being killed by some kids I think it was either burned and buried or just buried then dug up later.

Have to agree with you Sherpa...I remember seeing this pic a while back and whatever site it was said it was in the weasle family. Looks very weaslish as well.

As for the stick in the but...I guess that's one way to carry it around. ewwwww

Haha It looks like a muskrat that mated with a ferret that had sexual encounters with a cat that fell in love with this scary thing.

Either way, I don't think it's a baby T-Rex. It also doesn't look like something I'd bring home to my girlfriend as a cute cuddly surprise.

Oh ya, and about that stick....lets just hope that it was "put" there after it was dead, otherwise that thing might of been seen doing this

hahaha

I would suggest it may be this. Chupacabra are everywhere at least this is what they are being called. Seems to be some type of dog like creature. Since Science is finding new species all the time in the oceans and seas why coulnt there be new species of animals or animals cross breeding to produce new species on land to? which IMO this could be. they have found simaler looking animals in Texas, Mexico, South America and now Bosnia. Wow though looks kinda mysteriousish doesnt it.

neat post OP.

PS By the way I think girls are equally interested in this stuff, And I appriciate thier contribution and if that is really you in the avatar id hold the door for you everytime.

Definitely not a T-Rex. Its front legs are way too big.

Plus, when T-Rex was alive it only occurred in what is now the U.S. and Canada anyway. You wouldn't have found one in Bosnia even then!

Well, darkheartrising, that certainly is a disturbing, and nasty photo.

I can't agree with those who say it is some kind of clay sculpture. There are sculptors who make art, and sculptors who produce life-like creations. That photo, to me, does not look like the work of either. There are far too many tell-tale signs of it being a real raod kill; eg the stick placed up its butt (presumably to help in lifting it), and the splurge of guts, not to mention the bruises. Any could be replicated by a hoaxer, but in this case, to what end?

I have no idea what it is, but to me it looks like a once animate, and now very dead, creature.

I don't know why this was on google images,
but here is what Pine Marten roadkill looks like:

[graphic image warning]

As for the mystery animal, it looks like a dog to me, everything about
it but the front paws, those look really weird, almost little fingers.

Apologies, I was just kinda amazed that a simple search for
"Pine Marten" on google images brought up Pine Marten roadkill.
Hence my lil' [graphic image warning]

Anyways, some say cat, some say dog.. etc..
Still don't have a definitive answer.

This looks more like a member of the cat family to me. Something like an ocelot or puma that has been skinned. Pine Martens have bigger ears and this poor creature appears not to have big ears. Bosnia is well known for the illegal breeding and trade of exotic cats in particular.

Might have escaped, been shot, skinned and dumped. What ever happened to it, it didn't look like a happy end for the poor thing.

My take on the photo, is that what ever the animal was, and I think that it is a cat, it was skinned and badly gutted.

Your welcome, however I am not sure if that is definative proof as I havn't seen anything about dna testing on this animal, unless this is done I feel there is an element of doubt no how matter how small.

Yeah, Sherpa... I think you nailed it. It's actually a pretty cute little guy before he's covered in dirt and using his intestines as a belt.
