Little kids and porn pedlers abused the anon board to the point that now nobody can enjoy it.
As one of the lucky ones who worked with the anon board I can tell you that it got to the point where it simply wasn't salvageable.
People who spam LOVE when there's no signup required.
Basically it got so bad that in order to keep the hideous amounts of spam off we would have had to require at least email confirm, or something of
that nature, and that would have removed the whole anonymous point.
It's a shame really because at the beginning it was going great. As soon as word spread around the spammer circles, that was all she wrote.
