Can the governments control our weather?

Topic started on 26-7-2007 @ 03:55 AM by nomadrush

For some time now, I have wondered if the extreme changes in our weather systems have been "manufactured", and yesterday someone put forward the theory to me that the super-powers are controlling our weather.

It certainly seems strange just how dramatically the seasons are changing around us right now, but the sceptic in me asks what benefit a government would have by flooding half the UK?

We are being told that new taxes will be brought in soon to help fund the "fight against global warming" although many scientists do not believe the global warming evidence so far put forward.

You may care to read my BLOG today about this.

No...

There have been several different types of weather modification like cloud seeding.

Even HAARP will be mentioned (such as an inside secret and quietly understood to keep it a secret) but if a person had any idea about radio theory, the real objectives would be seen.

There are even talks of the contrails of jets using chemical injection with fuel. I find this a great idea for the average person to further worry about since there has been no real scientific testing but anecdotal evidence given as proof of occurrence.

No one controls the weather. If they did, it wouldn't be so hot in the middle of the USA while still flooding England, while baking the rest of Europe. It really sounds like summer in the Northern Hemisphere. As a side note, Australia had the coolest June of record, but no one really mentioned that in any nation media because it doesn't fit the global warming theory.

Yeah the "Chem-trail" thing both gets me laughing and worried. Laughing because of the ridiculous notion that an aircraft or two can seed the atmosphere with mind control drugs or some-such and worried because people believe it.

Yes I have noticed this too. If it fits the global warning fable then it gets publicity. I think that the weather system is more complex than "experts" believe. We do not know the full picture.

Maybe the weather gets weird once in a while as it gets back to "normal". I remember a while back someone saying that the world got out of the last Ice Age quicker than it should have done. If so what caused that? I think it is just the usual to and fro of a natural system.

Maybe its just time for the "Ape That Got Lucky" to give up its crown...

Yeah, there is some limited capability I believe.

Ever been to the Paranormal Forum, people there that think that they can psychically change clouds and weather

Maybe they should get together in a joint effort and target global warming.....

My government in Australia is about to seed.

www.news.com.au...

This is a state government. I think it is a load of hogwash, my country runs on drought/ flood cycles. We will just keep playing god till we have nothing left to play with. The crops we plant in these drought areas are not native and require more water than the environment allows. There is a reason the indigenous people in these areas were nomadic, the environment just does not sustain permanent settlements. The indigenous people also had an advanced understanding of the ecology. If we were smart we would be planting native*bush* food and not cotton.

Some people think so - called mathematical forecasting or something right? But I dont think they can - purely for the fact that I feel the US would be in control, and the US gets battered left and right by tropical storms and whatnot.

nomadrush in regards to the last bit of your post.
The UK channel 4 doc about the global warming swindle was just shown in oz with alot of controversy. We are one of the few countries in the world to have broadcast it. Before i watched it i was a fence sitter on the matter, it has opened me up to jumping off the fence. I was wondering if you had seen this doc?
en.wikipedia.org...

If global warming is caused by pollution then why are corporations and governments planning on taxing the poorer end users? This i have never understood until i watched this doc.

Maybe you should read this article. "The Paranormal Forum people" could be correct.

Seems China has a few tricks up their sleeves. I find this bottom quote quite interesting.

Beijing, which is chronically short of water, is well practiced at firing chemical-infused rockets into clouds to prompt a much-needed downpour, but organizers concede rain prevention remains a much tougher prospect.

*sniff sniff* Anyone smell chemicals?

Hmmm this is all very interesting and adds some weight to the theory.

It's interesting what KTK says about Australia, because I too believe that the Global warming thing is a "government spin" to take our mids off far greater and more important matters. A former government spokesperson said recently that whilst he was under Margaret Thatcher's reign, she allegedly asked for scientists close to her, to come up with something that would focus people's attention away from "other matters", something that could be made useful to government for collection of monies.

Now isn't it weird that the governments around the world are looking at "green taxes" and raising funds for the war against "global warming"?

I have said many times on my show, that our weather is cyclical and we have had heatwaves and ice-ages before and will do again. This sin't anything to do with us causing it - it is a part of Nature.

I bet their accountants are having a field day shuffling these funds!

Cloud seeding certainly takes place, especially in China, Russia and the USA (and now Australia) - many meteorologists are dubious about how effective much of this is.

Cloud seeding also took place during the Vietnam war - and such activities have now been 'banned'.

Other than that though, weather control is far distant science fiction (although obviously HAARP can do just about anything and everything. Including making me a cup of tea every morning ). The wet weather in the UK this summer has been due to the jet stream taking a more southerly track, and running Atlantic depressions into the air air over Europe - where that meet it rains. If the jet stream had been as far north as usual we'd been suffering a heatwave and a drought.
