I'm sure a few people out here have satellite, so I figured this was as good a place to ask as any.

I've got Comcast right now. I hate them. With a passion. Thinking of going to dish. However, I have a cable modem. I don't have a land line phone service. Thus, DSL is not an option.

Now, is it possible to have satellite and a cable modem? They both come in over the same pipe in the house, right? I mean, there is the one in point outside the house, and the wire can't carry both signals.

Anyways, anyone out there been in a similar predicament, or found a solution to this conundrum?

Thanks.

Yeah, I think so.

You might pay more than you would having it bundled with cable tv service though.
