US Representative Denied Access to US Emergency Contingency Plans

According to this article in The Oregonian newspaper, Representative Peter Di Fazio (D Oregon) who sits on the Homeland Security Committee, was denied access to the plans for continuity of operations for the US Government in the event of a terrorist attack or other emergency. This occurred in spite of having the necessary clearances as part of his job. Money quote from Mr. Di Fazio: "Maybe the people who think there's a conspiracy out there are right."

Yet another fine example of the White House asserting its dictoral premise over the Constitution and laws of this country.
