Changes to Now THAT'S Weird

Topic started on 24-7-2007 @ 07:55 AM by nomadrush

Now THAT'S Weird has been airing for almost two years now, and we are thinking of making a few changes to the format and would welcome your input and suggestions.

One idea being touted is a one hour show five nights a week rather than a three hour show each Friday night.

Other ideas include regular features within the three hour programme such as "astrology spot" and "crop circle news" etc.

So here's your chance to have your say on what changes YOU would like to see.

For my own purpose, I'd like to see more broadcasts and repeats because I miss most of the show because of my work as a hospital porter which invloves shifts. I'm so often either at work or asleep when most other people are not!

I know I've inquired about this before, Ross, but is there really no posibility of an archive?

Hiya

When the new website goes in line (hopefully in September) we will have a LISTEN ON DEMAND feature which means you will be able to listen to any show at any time at your own convenience.

The problems with actual downloads is that collection agencies such as PPL, MCPS/PRS and ASCAP all require a lot of additional payment if music is made available for download which means that we have to edit out all music content and ads from any show before putting up the podcast. This is just too time consuming at the moment.

That's a very good move. It will bring the station into line with most others. It will be good because I can catch up on any shows that I can't hear at the time they're braodcast. Thanks!

I'm looking forward to Glastonbury TV too.
