Since when is saying I hope his days are numbered advocateing the overthrow of a whole government.?

Go back and re-read what I wrote it is in the singular tense not plural

[edit on 7/24/2007 by shots]

Let's hope his days are numbered. Last week I forget the day several short stories mentioned a larget exodist of his citizens were coming to the US perhaps a Coup d'état is around the corner.

When you combine the two bolded lines, the inferance I get is you advocate such a Coup. Terribly sorry if I assume too much, its just the way it reads to me.

Did you get your facts straight about the coup d'etat?

From a doctored filmed?....

How about your get your facts straights, you apparently claim to know english i gave a recording of Chavez calling for activation of the Avila plan ON April which is the reason so many Venezuelans died...

BTW, among those Venezuelans who were captured on video it can be seen that "there were some with the red "revolutionary cap" who were the ones shooting, and it was the regime of Chavez who decided not to punish any of the people who were recorded on video shooting at the protesters...

At this point you are simply feeding articles you find around. First check the FACTS.
Nothing of what you wrote above is of any interest you are actually getting away with some links.
Would you like me to post 30.000 40.000 links about the US policies?
Now go back to the coup d'etat and start from there.

First of all, this is about CHavez...and i posted link about chavez and that he accuses anyone and everyone of some conspiracy or another when it pleases him or they criticize him....and about "FACTS"...you should be the one getting the FACTS straight..

Chavez is a "dictator", nothing more and nothing less...and to quote him, and this is not a joke he was throwing around at a party btw...

In some cases non-violence requires more militancy than violence.

Again you need to check your facts BIG TIME.
If you are referring to the guys on the bridge they were defending themself from the snipers and the local police.
You have second hand infos that are totally WRONG. Rest assured 100%.

I dont agree with Muaddib on a lot of subjects, but i respect him and know him to do extensive research. So far, ive seen him post numerous articles and quotes that highlight his side of the story. Maybe instead of just saying hes wrong, you could post something that proves your side, outside of one documentary video? After all, if the information you have is first hand, you should be able to reproduce source material that backs your claims.

Edited for a few corrections.

No I only advocate his getting thrown out not the whole government assuming they are not all that bad. Kind of like how many feel Bush should be impreasched if you will. Just because they want him out of office does not mean they want the whole government out thus the reason I used the singular tense.

Hardly Muaddib does his homework and never leaves one stone unturned he gets to the truth each and everytime. Ask most members of ATS they will tell you he does not spread disinfo such as you are attempting to do using one lousy doctored video.

You have second hand infos that are totally WRONG. Rest assured 100%.

Wll prove it then with more info that backs up what you are saying, one video will not do, you might as welll hang up your hat and walk off into the sunset right now if you thiink for one minute you are going to pull the wool over Muaddib's eyes.

Chavez Warns Critical Foreigners Will Be Expelled

www.cnn.com

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) -- President Hugo Chavez has said that foreigners who publicly criticize him or his government while visiting Venezuela will be expelled from the country.
.

that is very, very, very similar to the brand new Executive Order
that Bush just pronounced....
anyone in the continental US that causes distress on the Iraq policy
will have all their assets confiscated... without warning, without recourse.

and there's arguement in this thread that Chavez is a despot/dictator?
then what does that make the laws the US president is decreeing???

my focus on foreigners in Venez. is more involved/concerned with the
engineers & mining start-up specialists with a firm named Crystallex
(NYSE; KRY)
who has been ramping up a gold/Pr,Metals mining operation there in Venez. with 10's of millions in set-up $$ already underway,
along with the programs demanded by Chavez which will educate the locals, provide greater income & higher living standards for the indigenous peoples...

and several other issues demanded by Chavez for the benefit of the population rather than the mega corps...

i see some social-democrat traits in Chavez' way of running the free country of Venezuela.

The sad thing is, if the US government did the same thing, you would say the US is a dictatorship and then hundreds of others on here would be chanting NWO.

Only one difference, I don't see anybody standing in Washington from another country demanding the end of the bush administration while protesting in front of the white house.

I don't think that us American citizens will stand for that even if we know how rotten the president is.

That is only the right of the people and voters of this nation to do.

I see a lot of opinionated Americans like me doing that, I see Venezuelan citizens that still can protest in their streets.

After all Chavez is paranoid of what the mighty bush can do to his country and government.

Bush do not have to worry about somebody taking him out of the presidency in the US yet.

Of having a coup orchestrated by a foreign nation.

It makes me laugh how Americans think that their country is democratic and Bush isn't the biggest dictator in the world...

For example:

WASHINGTON (AP) — Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan was arrested Monday at the Capitol for disorderly conduct, shortly after saying she would run against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi over the California Democrat’s refusal to try to impeach President Bush.

To justify the war, Bush informed Congress on March 19, 2003 that acting against Iraq was consistent with “continuing to take the necessary actions against international terrorists and terrorist organizations, including those nations, organizations, or persons who planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001.”

Then shortly after the invasion....

BUSH: The terrorists attacked us and killed 3,000 of our citizens before we started the freedom agenda in the Middle East.
QUESTION: What did Iraq have to do with it?
BUSH: What did Iraq have to do with what?
QUESTION: The attack on the World Trade Center.
BUSH: Nothing. Except it’s part of — and nobody has suggested in this administration that Saddam Hussein ordered the attack. Iraq was a — Iraq — the lesson of September 11th is take threats before they fully materialize, Ken. Nobody’s ever suggested that the attacks of September the 11th were ordered by Iraq.

See Mr Bush, you continue to lie and it starts getting confusing...

and also...

"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him." - 13 September 2001

"So I don't know where he is. You know, I just don't spend that much time on him, Kelly, to be honest with you." - 13 March 2002

"I — I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him. I know he is on the run." - 13 March 2002

Wonder why he's not that concerned about Bin Laden
Maybe because its bull and the terrorist he should be looking for is in the mirror!!

Maybe Bush should go to war in the Congo after all

3.8 million people have died in the Congo since 1998, dwarfing not only the biggest of natural catastrophes, such as December's South Asia tsunami, but also other manmade horrors, such as Darfur.

Oh but wait....Theres no OIL in the congo, ah well never mind the people will understand.

Get a grip people. All the world's governments are corupt and they care for no one and nothing but Money and Power. Wake up and stop pointing fingers at this president and that president. They are all Dictators..

Sorry for the Rant but I'm sick of hearing this crap.

Chavez is slowly, incrementally, turning his country into a true Dictatorship. Before long it will be to late for the innocent citizens to do anything to save themselves. Amazing how easy it was for him to buy people. The money will stop before long. As soon as he feels he has complete control he will stop being a nice guy. He will need all his money to bribe the evil men he will need to control the population. Soon the citizens will realize they are slaves, but it will be to late.

It is a crying shame he was able to even buy Americans with a little heating oil. He could care less about you. It's all a ruse to divert attention while he creates his little Kingdom where he is the absolute ruler. Once he has control all the false fronts will come down and the slaughter of his enemies will begin.

If I'm wrong, I'll find this thread and apologize. I'm not wrong though. Don't let the money he is throwing around now fool you. Its just bait for the trap.

I find a lot of people take this stance when dealing with a socialist state. I believe this attitude is a byproduct of the Cold War. When leaders of socialist states start caring for the people, they're just buying the people off. Why is it so hard to believe that for once, the people of Venezuala are getting what they agitated for?

My prediction, if the US ever gets some of its act striaght in the middle east, you may just see another Chile or Nicaragua like situation happenning in Venezuala.

You know, I am not a big fan of Bush, but I don't see him doing these mass deportations. Yet, according to Mr. Chavez, "Bush is the devil.." Hmmm.... So what does that make you, Mr. Chavez???

Darn I will love to see mass deportations of illegal immigrants after all are they also invading our country? and using our freedom of speech and civil rights to keep invading our nation illegaly.

Also Chavez is deporting the people that is causing trouble to its government and perhaps instigating the same coup that put him in jail after winning elections legaly because US didn't like him in power.

I wish Bush will do something right for once in its life.
