A rat never turned into an ape, just like an ape didn't just poof into a human. It took millions of years and dozens of intermediate stages before you notice that kind of difference. Straw manning evolution and regurgitating nonsense you heard from a creationist, is not scientific, and no, you are not in the know. Eve was never proven with DNA. The population never dipped below a few thousand at any given time in our history. There was never a single man and single woman. Mitochondrial eve refers to a population of people not a single person... but you'd already know that if you even did 5 minutes of reading on the subject.
