Thats exactly whats going on. There is probably going to be some kind of catostrophic event, most likely a nuclear detonation. It is going to scare the American people to death. Then your leader is goin to tell you that he has a plan to make you 100% safe. Martial law will be declared, cash transactions will be illegal, all transactions will be electronic; (debit, credit card or electronic check). The reason for this is: a terrorist must spend money to operate, if all transactions are electronic the would-be terrorist would have to have a bank account, in another words he would have to be registered, then he could be tracked, especially if they shrink the atm card to the size of a chip. This will happen in the USA first then worldwide. It will be a worldwide cashless debit single monetary system. Then a one world government. this cashless system probably will not stop terrorists, because the can always barter. The American people will be so scared after the event that they will allow almost anythng so they can feel safe for them and their children. I love the USA, I hope this will not happen, but if you sit back and take in everything thats happened since 9/11, it's a likely scenerio.

yes DG, I am... LMAO

Thanks for the laugh...

I am also VERY involved in politics and research into what is happening in this country. I know what has happened and what is transpiring and make my decisions based on the facts.

Socialism and the left are all based on emotional responses to external stimuli. That is all well and good for the Saturday evening lifetime movie, but history has shown us time and again the best way for this country to proceed.

Liberalism, the kinder, gentler form of socialism is the greatest threat this country has ever faced. It is pervasive, anti-capitalist, inundated with lies and founded on a system that has historically been shown to be a failure. The concept of self reliance and independence that formed this country is poison to the socialist left and everything myself, Ronald Reagan and the Founding Fathers stood for. Although I have no business in that historic group. I am perfectly aligned with their policies and all that this country stands for, should stand for and should be working towards.

Perhaps I am an anachronism and my time is past. If that is the case, I shudder to imagine what will come of this country as more and more of the populace falls victim to the socialist lefts propaganda and lies. My one saving grace is that I am too old hopefully to live to see the destruction of my way of life that was started in 1776.

Grover,

The fact that you can defend such an indefensible position and include a veiled supposition that "I" can be influenced by anyone or anything, shows that YOU are indeed completely befuddled by the socialist lefts emotional brainwashing.

The thing that you have always missed and apparently continue to do so, is that having a positive view of current events and the overall health of the economy in no way implies any intellect less than yours. As such it is apparently you, who are caught up in the doom and gloom BS that the socialist left continues to waft out even under unsurmountable evidence to the contrary. Being that susceptible to obvious propaganda is decidedly more indicative of you being under some kind of spell, rather than clear minded thinking individuals that actually see things as they are.

The very concept of the possibility of a Police State is rather foolish and immature. It has however allowed something of a platform for exposing more of the socialist left lies. That is always a good thing...

Well, i just love how loosely the word socialism is tossed around like a frisbie. It is the in-vouge word du les temps...Chic and with a continental flavour.

It solves all to call Democrats socialists, eh?

Huh? I can't find that in my Cuban-American dictionary?

The closest I can find is, it means "The cow sneezed, my brains are".

I'm not really sure what to call the left anymore...

Being a Conservative, I have been called a Conservative my entire life...

Now the moniker Liberal is something that many are shying away from, it is now a Moderate or a Progressive...

As for the reference to socialism, sorry of it offends, I really am, but the correlation between Democrats, Liberalism and Socialism is too closely knit and impossible to ignore...
Like socialism, you want to take profits from legitimate companies. [Obscene profits anyone?]
Like socialism you want a HUGE government that controls everything.
Like socialism you want government programs that redistribute wealth. [Who wants to "take" Exxon's profits? I know who]
Like socialism the only free speech is that which agrees with you. [Fairness doctrine anyone]
Like socialism you want the government to decide what is fair in all things. [See above]
Like socialism you want to tax me to pay for those that wont work. [Repeal of the tax cuts that have boosted the economy like NEVER before]

To quote Grover...

HUH???

If it hurts your feelings to place a name on your political leanings, might I suggest a reevaluation?

I am a Conservative, a Neocon and a Republican. I have never really been anything else. There is no confusing who I am or what I stand for. I am like my fathers before me, I am strong and independent, self reliant and patriotic. I will give a hand up but not a hand out. I will never bow to the attempted liberal socialist take over of my country as long as I draw a breath.

I have learned from history and have no intention of making the same mistakes even though the liberal agenda is determined to undermine all this country was founded on. I shall fight on, standing for what is good and right in this country.

No marg...

Your use of extremism in reference to my posts is a vague attempt at deflection...

I said nothing of the sort....

I know Democrats that I respect and admire..
Libertarians and Green Party as well...

My references stand as they are without any need for a "deflective" clarification on your part...

Again, that is a wonderful lib/social tool. Taking comments out of context, or simply putting their own spin on them to make the Conservative out to be an evil demon....

Sorry, but you are wrong in what you have implied even though it is clear why you implied it...

Whats wrong with Democrat nowadays?

Nothing DG, except like the Republicans, there seem to be two very distinct extremes in the Democrat party.

Those with some amount of common sense and the extreme Socialists agenda anti-everything good crowd...

There are those that understand the value of what this country was founded on and those that want to take everything good, hardworking, honest people make and use it to make the government more powerful and give it to those that want to live on MY dollar.

There are those that own a business and understand, and those that use terms like "Obscene Profits".

Those that understand the free market and those that want to silence a voice using propaganda called the "fairness" doctrine, when there is nothing fair about it at all.

So Democrats are not who I reference...

The reason Socialist is use is to keep the minds and harts from what is going on in our presidency with the self proclaim autocratic ruling that Bush is giving himself.

It seems that the path to bigger government and more executives powers to border in dictatorship has been all alone the goal of vice president cheney.

But until now he didn't have enough position or a better partners than Bush.

Great article of the Neo con agendas for the executive branch and role in our nation.

This idea came to me while reading about the august conference over the three country union of US/Canada/Mexico....
Is it possible that the next 9/11 may not be on american soil at all?
Think it may come down in the great white north instead?
We have been fortunate to have had no disasters yet, but one of sufficient magnitude may just shut all the opposition to US policies in this country right off.
The disaster would have to be big enough to cause similar feelings to the 9/11 reaction in america....solidify canadian support for amalgamation....as well as possible co-operative martial law in both countries...
A Canadian attack especially in august may be just what doctor Bush ordered....

People, really! Isn’t it obvious to everyone by now that there’s not a dimes worth of difference among the repulicRATS? No matter who’s in power, the same globalist socialist agenda goes forward. The only difference is in the rhetoric. Each party says that which is necessary to placate their base, and then votes according to the days globalist agenda. The government grew more under Regan than it did under FDR, and has grown much more than that under W. Wake up people and realize that your ‘representatives’ are telling you one thing and doing another. Put down the cool-aid (whether red or blue), and pick up the Constitution, then compare what your politicians are doing to what the law of the land says.

Yes - those like Walmart, Exxon Mobile and Haliburton who extract their GREAT wealth from the American people but result in -

-American Companies moving over seas (Walmart's contract with Levi's)
-Companies allowing the price of gas to skyrocket out of control (Take a guess)
-Companies that allow immigrant workers to work illegally while reaping the benefits of cheap labor that does not require taxation or health insurance

-Manufacturing plants and labor being moved over seas
-Bahama bank accounts to avoid taxation (Haliburton)

The list of 'legitimate' companies goes on.

This is not anti capitalism, its called anti-American and it should be illegal. Without any regulation, capitalism cannot exist!

Can you hear your founding fathers throwing up in their graves?

Like socialism you want a HUGE government that controls everything.

As if this administration hasn't taken GREAT strides to make sure they are involved in nearly EVERY element of American life. What, with issues like stem cell research, gay marriage, abortion etc there is really no facet left that this admin hasn't tried to control.

I can't believe you would even use that as an argument.

Like socialism you want government programs that redistribute wealth. [Who wants to "take" Exxon's profits? I know who]

No. It is called COMMON DECENCY. By making working families in this country pay 3 times what they were paying for gas 10 years ago is a shame. The oil magnates will not go hungry. The people that they are stealing from will. Enough is enough. With RECORD profits occurring at a time when people can barely get food on a table, something is askew.

Like socialism the only free speech is that which agrees with you. [Fairness doctrine anyone]

You can say what ever you like. Thats what is great about America. Just as I have a right to point out the inaccuracies it what your saying

AND the rest about how you think what the liberal are doing is unfair, is a little too "based in emotion" for me to even go after.

As our trade deficit grows and national debt rises, take your hat off and salute the good "Conservatives" that are driving the US into the ground.

semperfortis, you contradict yourself. You say you're a neo-con and a conservative... sorry but neo-cons aren't conservatives. They are for open borders, north american union, big government, corporatism, torture, amnesty, wiretapping, patriot act, Guantanamo, world war 3 against the ``terrorists``... seriously neo-cons are followers of Bush, so I compare them as nazis, who either don't know what they are doing, or (god help humanity) mean what they do and are evil and against everything a free humanity stand for.

So please tell me again what are you for real? A conservative or a neo-con?

Actually vichilo, that would be your view of a neo-con, not the actual definition.

Please people, I'm seeing alot of political names being tossed around, and almost ALL of them are not being used correctly.

Some of the ones I've seen are, Socialist, Capitalist, Neo-Con, and a few others... if you want to use those terms, please look up what they are before tossing them at someone.
