Over the past few years i have read book after book on astral projection. I can get the the relaxed state and start to hear/feel vibrations, but the only thing i can remember after that is waking up. At first i thought i might have to do with the fact that i couldn't remember my dreams so i practiced that, i can remember them clear as a bell now but i still cant get out. Any help would be much appreciated, its getting very flustering at this point lol.

I can't do it either, I get to the vibration part, I feel excited and ready to just jump out of my body, but I feel like I'd down, I try to get up, but I can't. Then I just fall back into my real self and am cold and wondering what just happend? I feel weird and shaky. I wish I could wander.

It sucks to, iv heard once you get out the first time its extremely easy to do it again. I feel the same as you bob i get to that leaving point then it over. Very disappointing

I suggest that you guys read the thread I started called Out Of Body

I explained the technique I am using but quite havent been able to get out of my body. The first experiance frightened me to death and have been scared to do it again... But now am ready and willing to try it again.

I also talked about this book and pt a link in it that helped me to control and get over my fear. So I think its worth you guys looking into. All I have to say its all about not getting to excitedbecause that is what messed me up

Step one. Sit in a straight back chair (like a kitchen chair) knees together, feet flat on the floor, back straight, chin up, hands on your thighs. Now don't move, not even a twitch. when you can do this for 30-40 min go to step two.

Step Two. Do the above, but this time focus you mind on one thing like say a shape. when you can do this for 30-40 min without your thoughts drifting, then try to AP.

If you can not control your mind and body, you will never be able to control AP.

It's not very difficult, try a good breathing technique count from 7 to 1 while breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth very slowly. Keep this up until all the surrounding sounds have gotten loud and then faded away and the only thing you here is your breathing. then focus your thoughts on yourself slowly rising out of your body. You will feel a sudden rising or seperation from your physical which can be quite scary and if so you will probably pop back into your physical self. The key to astral projection is meditation. Find a good book that explains and identifies the Chakras of the body with color pictures of the seven sacred chakras and examples on how to open them, see them, use them, and recharge them. You will need this knowledge if you plan to astral travel. Anyone can astral project, learn to meditate well, slow your breathing, use your chakras, and don,t be scared. If you dream well, try if you happen to realize that your in a dream to take over the dream and do whatever you want, it's a lot of fun. For good meditation music look up the name Steven Halpern on the net and you will find all kinds of relaxing music to help you on your quest. Well I have to get home can't stay at work all night. Have patience, it took me several years to consciously astral project and once you do you will want to keep doing it and thats when your knowledge of the chakras will come in handy. Whatever you put your mind and will to you can do. Good Luck!
