This is a great dish if you like shrimp, it is one of my favorite ways to cook shrimp.
1 pound shrimp
1/2 cup tomato paste
2 Ts soybean oil
pinch of tamarind
2 Ts red chili sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp of lemon grass
1 tsp shallots
1 clove garlic
pinch of salt
1 tsp tapioca starch
I forgot to add that you can add water to thickness, the shrimp if fresh adds some water to the mix also so add water to sauce after the shrimp.
To make combine all sauce ingredients in a sauce pan heat to a medium temp, and then add shrimp cook and eat.
you can also add some Calamari if you want it also tastes awesome in this sauce.
