Asian Pop Quality

So it turns out that I have a Taiwanese Girlfriend (I come originally from Latin America). Since we started dating she always shows me a lot of Asian pop singers that she likes, but I always thought that they can't sing and they they have zero stage presence and do weird things like closing their eyes for the entire song.

I'm I being culturally biassed because I find their style different or they truly suck?

What's your take on this?

They suck the big one! Cantopop and all that rubbish is purely media driven drivle. It's about the clothes and the "look" not the music. Hateful hateful garbage!

My wife is Chinese and all the crap she likes makes me want to rip my ears off!

But like me, you will put up with it: cos I bet your G/F is hot!!
