Instantly you can see what he's aiming for. A solid defence. He's brought in well. Geremi and the Czech lad from St Germain will do decent. Obviously finances are an issue and I hope they keep Owen. Owen/Martins alongside Viduka could be immense. It reminds me of the Sunderland partnership a long time ago with Quinn and Phillips. One tall, hold up man (although Viduka has much more skill) and a quicker, more direct player alongside.

Big Sam is gunna change a lot of things, mostly with infastructure and he has a hardcore gadget fetish so they'll be having those strechy things by the bench. yeah.

I was drafted into the toon army by a kid at school who was from Newcastle....so I guess I officially go for them.

I reckon they can finish mid table, still got a lot of potentila and some cash to spend. They need to find some big names if they are going to have any success though. Maybe they should attempt to sign Joe Cole?

Dunno if Big Sam will go for that, he likes big fellas who can head the ball and be physically dominating.
Time will tell if Sam will stay or if even Kevin Keegan might be asked back.
