Now Thats Weird Friday 13th July

Another great show Ross.
Glen Carter was excellent. I have had my doubts about the integrity of the Raelian movement but the gentleman was level headed and had a sense of humour, I liked what he had to say, shame I can't make the Forbidden Knowledge!!

Nita as always was great!! Its a shame that Fanny Banter stopped airing lol. I love her take on things...seems an interesting lady.

However, mmm... how shall I say my friend.........Kristina Keane or should I say Sophia. I could not do your job for all the tea in China..or the rest of the world. You sir are a true professional!! I would have found interviewing the goddess difficult, as I would be too busy stitching my sides up after they had split from laughing

I would have thought a divine being would not need to pause for thought by saying "mmmmm" every 5th word or so. Either we were in the presence of greatness or that was the maddest person to have avoided sectioning.

One thing for sure there is definitely life on one other planet...cos she ain't on this one

Thanks for the comments and glad you enjoyed the show. Yes Glen was interesting and made some very good points at the presentation at Forbidden Knowledge where he aptly stood in for Rael who was ill. He certainly got a few of us thinking!

Nita Grant is always good value and stayed with us as our guest over the weekend. Its always great to have her down here.

As for Kristina (Sophia) well yes it wasn't one of the easiest interviews I have ever done lol! I do try however, to give every guest their chance to put across the views without challenge or ridicule (too many other shows do that) and I like to let my audience decide, and all I can say is that you certainly weren't the ONLY one to express those views! However, whilst I was certainly not convinced myself, I always remain open-minded about these things, because we can never be totally certain of some of the strange things in the universe!

I recognize the name Nita Grant from Ross's book.

I'm very dubious about the Raelians. It seems very odd that "Rael's" close encounter was so much more spectacular than anyone elses. I admire a lot of the things they stand for in terms of religious tolerance and gender equality, but it's bizzarre that the aliens need an embassy to come and visit Earth. Why do they need us to build this thing in Jerusalem that even has a swimming pool? Why don't they just land?
