This site Galaxy Zoo.org is asking people to help them classify the millions of galaxies that have been photographed.

They are asking volunteers to help classify these galaxies as spirals, elliptical, merging or non merging galaxies, and if the spirals are clockwise or non clockwise.

There is a tutorial to show you what they want you to do, then you can proceed to the trial.

Aww, you beat me to it Keyhole! I was just about to post this!


But hey, this is going to be kinda fun sorting galaxies and looking at all our deep space reconnaissance photos.

Just started doing it yesterday myself. Its actually quite hard as alot of the pictures are extemely grainy and non-descript. Does your eyes in after a while sitting with your face an inch from the monitor. lol
