They're rereleasing Hard Boiled

A new version of John Woo's Hard Boiled is being released on July 24th. Apparently the movie is newly remastered and includes 2 hours of special features and previously unseen clips. Hard Boiled is one of my favorite action movies ever so it's great that they've finally made a worthy US dvd release. I checked out the company responsible for the US release, Dragon Dynasty and it looks as though they're bringing other classic Martial Arts movies over to the states as well. (Most of these were available before but the quality of the discs was usually mediocre. I'm an avid collector and I'm embarrassed to watch most of my collection with friends just because of the poor quality.) I'm going to try and pick up one of the first releases because I hear it comes with limited packaging. I'm really looking forward to this though since Hard Boiled is one of the best action films ever.
