For the Hip Hop fans, Point Blank:

For my son, Billy Talent:

For my daughter, Avril(oh sh!t):

One of my fav's. Just rock and roll. The Headstones:

Youtube, this is how you do it:

[ yvid]KNZru4JG_Uo[/yvid ] I moved the "[" and "]" out so that you could see the code. Leave them alone and you get:

Tom Sawyer:

Just quote the letters and numbers after the "=" sign. Hit the Youtube button, up next to the "Googlevidio" button and add that code.

Hope you dont mind me adding to your list of Canadian bands intrepid, too late.

Four Canadian bands straight off the top who i think are brilliant, in no particular order. 3 Inches of Blood, Annihilator, Strapping Young Lad (pretty much anything involving Devin townsend) and Alexisonfire.

Heaps of really good metal bands have come out of Canada over the years, Cryptopsy, Anvil, Voivod, Exciter and many more.

A little taste.

3 Inches Of Blood - Deadly Sinners

Alexisonfire - Water Wings

Annihilator Alison Hell

Strapping Young Lad - Relentless

Even though they aren't a fav of mine you can't have a Canadian music thread without The Tragically Hip. Little Bones:

I was wondering where the Hip were.
I'm not into their newer stuff, but I have a few of the older albums. Gord Downie is such a maniac!

Two Hip favourites:

Locked in the Trunk of a Car

So Hard Done By (warning - much louder than the previous vid)

I love Jann Arden. I wonder many weddings in Canada this song gets played at?

Jann Arden - I Would Die For You

Here's two great Canadian acts in one song...

Swollen Members ft Nelly Furtado - Breath

It came from the 80's, Triumph. Lay it on the Line:

I was actually at this concert.

Well Rik sang that one. Time for Gil, Rock and Roll Machine:

You wouldn't believe how tall Gil is. When he steps from behind the drums, he's HUGE.

BTW, feel free to add to this thread friends.

Gowan? I hated it then and I hate it now.

Someone I do like is Buck 65. I know, I have rather strange taste in music sometimes.

Wicked and Weird

Kennedy Killed the Hat

More great music from the 80's...

Northern Pikes - Things I Do For Money

The Pursuit of Happiness - I'm An Adult Now (the video sucks, I wish I could find the original version which was much, much better)

They call this country? It's maritime folk, The Rankin Family- You feel the Same Way Too.

I went to college with 2 of the girls, Cookie and Heather.

I ask again, this is country? Mairi's Wedding

You may not like this if you aren't from a maritime area. You can be a metal head and still like this if you're from the area.
