Iraqi FM: Turkey massing 140,000 troops

Turkey has for some time wanted to deal with Kurdish rebels on its southern boarders inside northern Iraq. If this is true then i would suspect Turkey will go into Iraq soon. What would this do to an already unstable situation inside Iraq? Could this be just another step in the direction of full blown War in the region?
