I'm actually moderate but can't imagine anything more boring than a world of moderates. Especially if all politicians wanted to get along, and never
rock the boat or debate or improve anything.
I like extremists from both sides. If America didn't have some extremists, we'd never have accomplished anything. What would a complacent moderate
America be now? The Loyal Protectorate of the United Kingdom?
People go crazy when some socialist opens their mouth about healthcare, or a bible thumper talks about how it ought to be. But if not for them, you
wouldn't know how to be moderate. We don't have to please every ranting malcontent in the country, but they damn sure get a voice. This country was
built by ranting malcontents.
There remain two prevalent kinds even today.
Group A: Everything sucks.
And Group B: Everything's fine.
Both are inherently wrong, but necessary.
