Hey,

I have an old book dating from 1870 called "Stearns on Masonry"
Just wondering if this is a well known publication in the conspiracy world?

I flipped through and read a few pages, kindof hard to follow, but apparently the author was a mason, and apparently liked it then grew to not like masonry and I guess came to writing this in depth view of masonry and religion.
The one page (wich actually had a old scrap of paper with a job ad on it that said they were paying $225.00 a month
) it talks about Illumination, and how they overthrew the French government. and all over Europe etc.

This is just an aside but, in my opinion, it is good practice to always include some basic background information when you start a thread. It allows the reader to discern whether the thread might hold any interest or relevance.

I did a quick Google search on Stearns on Masonry and I found an interesting article that certainly adds to the mysteries surrounding Masonry. Perhaps this might be worth some consideration by both Masons and CTers alike.
