This is a little strange...

Just a few moments ago, my local cable outfit ran another Emergency Broadcast System test...supposedly they run them only monthly...this is like the third time in as many weeks.

Normally I'm not horribly paranoid, but I'm kinda curious as to what's going on. Is it just my area? The Northwest United States? All over the US? If something is going on, anyone have any idea what?

Where's my damned tinfoil hat? It's around here somewhere!!!

They've also been running them on the radio with increasing regularity. It seems very strange to me.

Has any other area had so many tests?
