Are You an ATS Geezer?

Well, there are so many of us Geezers, I started an official HAG thread.

You would be surprised at the number of 30-40 year olds on this site....they are the dominant age group according to a survey SO did a few months back. There is a pie chart posted somewhere.

Anyway I'm a couple years short of 40 myself...

45 and loving it. I ain't no geezer though. I may have grown up with Floyd, Queen, etc but if you keep an open mind you can experience any age. Well, the 80's sucked. The Grunge was kickin and now I'm checking out Hip Hop. Not like I have a choice, my girls are into it but some is actually really good.

The all night party is still possible, if I don't mind paying the price for a couple of days.

I prefer the term : "mellow and mature", you know, like a fine wine or cheese.
O.K., forget the cheese. Anyway, I am older than BT chronologically but I don't think of myself as "old" by any means. I can sum up my whole philosopy on life and aging in the words of my role model and mentor, Dave Barry, who said:

"What I look forward to is continued immaturity followed by death."

Age is all a matter of mind over matter; if you don't mind, it doesn't matter.

Also, MM, can't you think of a better acronym for your seniors club than HAG? That presents a decidedly visual image of old crones hunching over a boiling cauldron.

...and remember folks, the older the violin the sweeter the music!

I'll be 36 later this year. College age kids call me "sir" so I figure I'm practically there. hurrah for us Geezers.
