This can't be it.

We have been told that at the end of the game, the domains will have hundreds of inbound links to them making them valuable. The same concept applied to thefinalanswertoeverything.com and alltheufoanswers.com

If this is it, then I'm really disappointed.

And, yes, where is the 'who owns the USA' thread!!! Ugh!

Its not over they have changed it since last night, now it says ....

That appears correct.

We are confirming a prize claim. You must provide a valid email.
You must be 16 or older to claim the prize.

Confirming a prize ...... Hmmmmm ???

Going back to bed maybe more when everyone wakes up ...

LMAO I've been checking this thing on and off since my last post. I'm assuming the rest of you have been doing the same?

Hopefully we get some type of announcement today.

I don't believe it's over either.

There were supposed to be intermediate prizes along the way to the grand prize, iirc.

Please come back Mr. Eye, we miss you!!!

In all seriousness I would also like to know what they used to slice the images???

Although it wasn't very difficult to reassemble them, I am still interested.

Please tell me how you reassembled the last clue set images. I'm new to Gimp and wanted to learn how to use it. I layerd all the images as grayscale, but still had a mess.

I checked the page this morning and still see the same clues and the anser box is still there. I am not seeing at all what you are seeing.

Hey downintheupside, you're older than 16...right?

Okay, I opened each of the images in GIMP, and went to "Colors" ---> "Color to Alpha". Chose "000000" as the color I wanted to strip from the image. Then save as a .PNG image. ( to keep the transparency )

I did this for all 8 images

Then I opened photoshop, and assembled the layers. The order in which the are placed does not matter.

Also, if done correctly, the 8 images will be self-aligned to the first image, and no further adjustments should be necessary.

Oh, and on the bottom of the stack of layers, place a black background.

flatten the image, then save as.....

*Actually, I had a bit of trouble the first time I unscrambled the images. I manually pasted them onto an existing background image (black) which was a little bigger than the individual images as they appeared in the thread where they were found.

But the second time, after I stripped the black color from all the images (and saved each as a seperate PNG) I opened the first image in photoshop, and added subsequent images as more layers.

It could have been done completely with the GIMP , but I am more familiar with photoshop. *

That's insane! It can't really be that short..... can it? This would be the quickest game in ats history then....I think.

Hey Springer, S.O., HUNT:

What is the status of the game? Is it truly over? Is an announcement going to be posted in this thread as was done with the other games?

If it is over, it was extremely quick.

And what about consolation prizes for those of us who have toiled over this for days on end.

I personall don't need anything material, but my ATS points could use some friends.

Nah, that's a bit much. Don't ya think?

A couple thousand wouldn't hurt, though.

I still can't get over the feeling that maybe the answer to our question as to whether the game is over or not, is buried just as the remaining unsolved letters are. (as a hidden clue)

Would be nice right about now to hear something from any one of the following...

SkepticOverlord
Springer
SimonGray
HUNT_ADMIN (although his participation through much of this game has been non-existent)
AboveTopSecret.com (Info Account)

Hell, I'd even take a a few words from "member" alltheconspiracies right about now, as comfirmation of whether or not the game is over>

Well, the answer page is titled as 'index.html' and it says that they are still confirming the claim to the prize.

How long does that take?

When I won alltheufoanswers.com, confirmation was pretty quick.
