Just something to consider. We will have a total of 99 characters (including spaces) by the time we get everything. However, the entry box on the website to answer the question "Tell me the root cause." only contains 50 spaces.

So, will some of these characters be throwaways? And what about the names of the files? Could they be of some relevance, especially the names from this last set?

Theory time:

If we take the words from the last clue set images, we have the following words:

power evil apathy ignorance time always then now

If you put a space after word, you have a total of 49 characters. The fist anagram clue page was named 'fifty.html'. My theory is that they are giving us these words to use in the final answer and we have to come up with the remaining 50 letters (+ period) to use for the phrase.

Here are some stats for you.

Out of the 4 clue sets we have found:

71 letters
10 spaces
1 period

We have 17 unknown characters.

There are 99 characters in the response to start the game.

1 of those characters is a period, leaving 98 characters for alpha and spaces.

If the filenames for the last clue set are valid, we can deduct 41 letters and at least 7 spaces.

This leaves 30 letters and 3 spaces, therefore at least 3 more words. Given the number of unknowns left, we can anticipate at least 2 more spaces. Therefore at least 5 more words to be formed from remaining letters.
