I have an argument i need to settle....

Is Night of the living dead (i think) the sequel to Dawn of the dead?

Anyone know?

No it's the prequel.. Day of the dead is the sequel to dawn of the dead. Pay no mind to the remakes continuity.

It think they actually go in order of the times of day:

Night of the Living Dead (the very first movie, beginning of the "end")
Dawn of the Dead (some roaming humans left, but not many)
Day of the Dead (the only humans left apparently are in a military bunker)

Day of the Dead leaves just a taste of hope with the pregnant woman and the guys with the helicopter. I'm just waiting for Teatime of the Living Dead to see what happens to them.

...Aw, come on! There's also Land of the Dead (Haw!)

Fun movie... Still, i'm waiting for "World of the Dead"...

or is that.. "Dead World"...:w:

actually here is the order and i doubt their stories hold any continuation of each other

1) night of the living dead 1960 something
2) damn of the dead 1979
3) day of the dead 1980 something
4) night of the living dead the remake - really good 1992 or something
5) dawn of the dead remake 2000 something
