My initail thought was an attempt to finish the bomber off, there's still one in custody though so that doesn't seem likely.

This is very odd....i'll be interested to see where this goes.

More likely targetted the airport at this time because it is the start of the school holidays. There would have been lots of children killed and maimed had their attack not failed. I can't help but wonder if (or do I hope?) the terrorist in hospital is having his burns treated with xenografts. This is a viable surgical technique in which pig skin is used as a grafting agent. That would be some poetic justice if it were the case.

Oks reports now on the BBC three controlled explosions, happening @ Alexandria Hospital.... Seem Sky News hit this one on the head first....

A 200-metre cordon has been thrown around the hospital and staff and visitors are not being allowed in or out.

Breaking news jfk being evacuated.

They have the bombm suqad on the way now and the evacuation began 1 hour ago. Nothing in print just on FOX so far.

The package was found at the American Airlines terminal which has the majority of flights to the UK or so they claim.
