Here's some MIND CANDY for you guys.

The Observer effect.

Ultimately when you 'observe' your online bank statement, say for example, what is going on?

Are you 'observing' "solid reality", (as we've been brought up to believe) that your bank account has 'X' amount and can only have 'X' amounts?

OR thru the very act of 'observing'....... are you choosing that your online bank statement has any amount that you decide.

'Strange' and heretical ideas to the masses, but to ones on a deeper path, self evident truths.

Hmm. Your username is all lower case letters. Did you log in using any capital letters? If so, log out and log back in with all lower case letters. That should do it.

That is actually an interesting question. I suppose that if we are to believe that we "create our own reality," at least in a sense, then on some level, that theory is true. I guess, as far as I am concerned, the only thing that is debatable is to what extent we effect such things.

My observations aren't cooperating with me. There's just never enough in there!

Bro, I totally believe in the observer effect.
Without the five senses, there is NOTHING

Observer effect is pretty much scientific fact at this point, thanks to all the work recently in quantum physics. By the way; for anyone interested in quantum theory and how it impacts human beings, I'd suggest a book called "The Field" by Lynne Mctaggart (think i spelled that right...) it's got a ton of information on studies and such into quantum theory and how it interacts with macroscopic reality.
