any thing that is seriously advanced wont and cant crash on the moon where the gravitational force is only 1/6 that of the earth

It does seem a bit odd. It's rather like the stories you hear about aliens who land in the middle of Yorkshire and ask the way to the United Nations.
What!? They traveled 20 light-years and found Earth, and even learned to speak an Earth language... and they need to stop to ask
directions!

But really I think the idea that aliens are flesh-and-blood creatures like us, who fly through space from planets we could see through a telescope in
nuts-and-bots vehicles is untrue; or at least it doesn't account for most aliens. The majority of aliens have much more in common with ghosts,
poltergeists and fairies; that is, that they're non-physical entities, not of this "world" in the sense of this universe of 3 dimensions and atoms
and molecules etc. Stories of alien abduction match older accounts of people being spirited away by sprites and trolls etc. The modern abductions are
the recent manifestation of a perennial phenomenon.
