My word if the trends that in this poll continue the people that continue to support wont be able to trump out the old propaganda that the American
political left and not coalition leaders are responsible for the coalition failure in Iraq. Since there own kind appear to be turning against the war
such propaganda wont even hold any weight any more.
Polls like this one also spell trouble for most of the 2008 Republican presidential candidates who support the continuation of the war in Iraq. Its
looks like that support for the war in Iraq will be a liability for the Republican candidate in 2008.
IMO People should at least support finding ways of preserving democracy in Iraq away ideas like partitioning Iraq along tribal lines need to be
looked at more closely either that the US military needs to be expanded ASAP.
If if it was your freedom on the line would how would you feel about people who wanted to end the war ?
Even if Iraq doesn't exist in its current form any more the Islamic extremists have to be defeated and democracy must prevail. Iraq isnt the
battlefield I would have chosen fighting the enemy in Urban areas isnt a very smart idea but now that the coalition is in Iraq the enemy must be
defeated.
