We are more or less aware government is actually paying people to join boards and blogs and try to debunk popular 9/11 and even UFO and other theories. But sooner or later on any intelligent board or blog they encounter a brick wall called logic. A lot of 'conspiracy theories' actually hold more water than official explanations and some are even hard truths government doesn't want you to ask questions about, ie. forming of NAU, foreign troops training in USA, illegality of wars in ME and so on.

So what's next step when you can't prove people wrong and you look like an idiot? Well, stop proving them wrong and simply create disinformation. This is an old tactic used at war, politics and even religion. When you can't convince people about something, then make them think something else, focus them somewhere else and go on with your original agenda, unchallenged.

I think a lot of hoaxes and even debunkers are in fact sponsored by government, not just a joke of some sort. It may appear that way, but deny ignorance and you will see it's almost like a planned wave of hoaxes here.

There are also a lots of people who are frankly odd.

Boards give them a voice rather than standing on street corners. As long as there is a place to be heard there will be hoaxes and frankly false, weirdo, odd and useless information.

ATS is drawing these kinda people dure to the content, so we just have to read and post and learn to get through
