It seems that Obese people have a lower risk of getting sick from tuberculosis than normal or underweight people. The study done in honk kong looked
at the records of over 42000 geriatric patients.

And in Europe, research is showing that the post heart attack mortality is lower for obese patients than normal weight ones

Not really sure what to make of it, but reducing ones weight is still an important goal IMHO
