Several posts are gone, and one particular thread is gone for some reason....

What happened? Did we have a revert, or someone hacking into ATS?

Yep. We've been alerted to the problem via the complaints form.

Not sure what the problem is but I know S.O. is checking it out as we speak.

Hope the issues get squared away soon.

I've identified the possible problem... and the good news is the data still exists.

But the bad news is that it might take some time.

I know one thing that is wierd I was just looking around in the member search area and hundreds of windows started opening up on my computer.
They opened faster than I could stop them, I finally had to control alt. del.
Now ive been on this computer for many years and that has never happened to me before. And now it happens on this site.
The only thing close to something like that happening to me before would be yahoo chat when someone bombs you with chat bots.

I guess it's good and bad news - I have the utmost faith that you guys will get fixed in no time. Is it cool if we start a new RATS thread on the subject we were discussing before the board went awry?

I've had some weird things happen as well.

For instance the "False Flag" thread was on page 81 of posts, and when I clicked to go to the last page, it took me to a blank page 82...

The page wasn't entirely blank, the banners, navigation bar, and everything else was there, just devoid of any posts. (Since there were no posts on that page yet)

This has happened several times today.

Perhaps because it is a big thread??

the same thing is happening to some threads in RATS too. I think it's board wide.

m-32, I had that same today. Many times. It always seemed to be when a page was nearly full, and I thought it was just a glitch. It was the reverse of the thing that takes you to,say, page 22 when you click on 23 and there's only one post on that page. I think that is a way to keep you from missing a post at the end of a page.

And also, on a thread in the news section, I can't scroll all the way to the bottom to add a reply. I seem to get to the last post, can't be sure, but no further.

Damn gobmint hackers!

Really Above Top Secret - it's a locked forum that you have to have 5000 ATS points to get into. You can purchase access from the member center icon, then click on ATS Store.

Actually the answer has already been given. It is a forum that is not GOOGLE searchable. It offers just a little extra privacy from outside eyes.


Looks like you need to save up a little for it, though. 5000 points for initial entry payment, 250 points per month should you choose to renew each month.

In recent posts it says Valhall posted last in this thread, but it clicking into it Mech was the last poster. I tried again, and Val was still the last poster.

It now says NGC2736 is the last poster, but I can still only see Mech. So no one is going to see this post? What is the point in me posting it?? No reason. None at all. Muhuhahahahahhahahahahhaha
