Katt..If you want to try that do it with one of these..its best I can do with contrast . At this point my lack of experience with th this program bars me from doing anything else.
This is doable. whether thru color filters or what not..its doable My trial corel x expires anyday..and I'm back to gimp. Not good. May as well be a can of alphabet soup and Hungarian ghoulash that spilled on a pretty carpet.

I think they used the greek alphabet as I saw rho, alpha, our a, omega the horshoe shape with outward ends, gamma looks like y and lambda upside down y.. epsilon thats llike Et etc

All you need to take is a decent digital camera and a small chrome type xmas tree decoration. A couple of photos later its a matter of just intergrating your model into you scene using those. The process is far easier today than it was to do 2 years ago (although it wasn't exactly brain surgery back then!)

I’m pleased Sys and regarding the LAP (and things within) I’ve been wanting to say sometimes things become clearer or at least the perspective alters if you step back from them, (the bigger picture if you like….. )

You deserve that well..you perhaps the most reasonable and fair person I know..I am a tad less balanced..and did things which were perhaps..underhanded to achieve an end..I just knew that these people lacked the ethical barriers you and I try to live by..They had paid troops on the ground. and a preplanned campaign...we..just a volunteer militia..

I would say..something that tipped the scales for me..was reading a storybook to the preschoolers ..Franklin the turtle finds a camera..Franklin finds a camera on the ground at the school playpark. He looks it over slowly..and around to see whos it is. no one is there. He remembers what his father said ..dont bring anything home that does not have his name on it. His friends see him and and they say kewl..finders keepers...Franklin noted the camera had been used and still had film in it..so he is persuaded to take some pictures of this friend moose and the squirrel. they had a swell time...he takes the film out and puts the camera back where he found. it..when he goes home..the film drops out of his book bag ..
the father asks him whats that? And franklin confesses..and the father asked what is the right thing to do? get the camera and look for the owner..
which they did with posters and even a trip to the police station that held it for a week or so. In the mean time ..Franklin had dropped the film for development..returned for it..and noted that one of the pix was his old friend Racoon..who had gone on vacation..He returned the camera..with new film..and Racoon was so happy..they took pictures together..All is well..

Sorry Sys, I don’t see the Epsilon. I’m not good at finding those type things I guess.
You gave it a shot and that’s what matters. Lots of ideas and talk with this thing but until time is spent on it, it would always be one of those nagging questions or another reason for people to believe this is real. Kill it with fact!

Wayne did not really answer the question. I think he thought it was about how to make a drone picture. It should be easy to bury any info, text or other image in an image. The difficult part is doing it so that the intended subject has any realistic chance to find it or for the hoaxster to later point it out without any doubt of ownership. I’m not sure of how much of what you are seeing is due to hi-res scanning, re-sampling and artifacts unique to the method, software or equipment. My own opinion is that if anything was embedded with intent of verifiable discovery it has to be at the original presented image resolutions. There are too many unknown variables beyond that. Or perhaps it’s in the image file as a unique code watermark. Need a skilled coder for that and it seems like an impossible clue to find IMO. Then again, it could be as simple as there are no intended clues and any lapses are due to lazy hoaxer syndrome.

There is no doubt. Although rather than "originally created for...", it was more than likely "appropriated for..." the intent of viral-marketing.

The ethical, viability, and long-term ROI of this campaign, however, remains to be seen. It's like the middle chapters of the ghost novel was written and distributed, although the first few chapters are missing, remain hidden, or, as Sys has tried to illustrate, are woefully obscured.

Certainly finding (and deciphering) the prologue and epilogue remain elusive. I don't think all the main characters have fully exposed themselves yet. They may never.

Not sure about you all, but I'm beginning to feel as if "the plan" was not executed as intended - in fact may have gone terribly wrong, and now, the perpetrator(s), and their associates and accomplices, are backpedaling like mad.

Hello All ARC Members and Friends.

I just read that the US Govt. "Cash for Clunkers" program was being suspended.

Too bad, because I was almost certain that Chad, Raj, or someone else might trade in one of those clunker drones for a new fuel efficient one.

On another note, what do you think LMH will do with the rest of the drone images she has squirreled away?

Did anyone confront her yet at any of her personal appearances?

Klatu, as they say on TV :Houston we have a problem.
If what I stated above is correct...on this last set of cellphone pix, then in a way we have lost the high ground. Think about it.. Simple zoom which I am sure someone else other than myself already did, a litlle sharpening and color adjustment. And the problem is exposed. It would have been declared hoax and no further investigation necessary, and we would not be hear conversing .The other events would have collapsed because they would have been severely prejudiced by the first one..
This went thru Mufon first and Mufon subsequently did declare hoax..but..failed to point out this rather glaring problem. Did it miss this..then the History channel as well? Television crews which have those duall monitors that have to be just calibrated just right for the television audience.
That failure was an invitation for all purposes to proceed. In fact..Carte Blanche..they got better..and wratched up the stakes..
In a manner of speaking..we are justly so, as guilty as Linda..imo..both sides profited from the continuance..with shows..irrespective of which the side they fell on. And thats why none of our "big Boys" or her peers have publicly outed Linda and others like her. The game was in motion., everyone drank and ate at the trough..
Except here at ATS with the effective branding of HOAX..which really slowed down the hoaxers momentum elswhere. It was not playing the game.

So it's been a few months since the rug was yanked from under the Terminator tv series. I thought at the time that it would be interesting to watch the dronies for a while and see what happened. The result was easily predicted by the Sysco Hypothesis of viral campaign gone off the rails. All that's left is a couple of whack jobs trying to impress one another on UCB. It's like watching a couple of hard core drunks trying to have a political argument at two o'clock in the morning. You just wish they would go ahead and pass out, significantly reducing the embarrassment present in the universe. I don't know where those two characters fit into the scam, if at all, and I don't care.

Anyway, I still see a lot of evidence that Sysco's hypothesis is correct, and little or nothing that reasonably refutes it, but I surely have missed some of the details and could be wrong. Again, I'm long past caring. I think the ARC and friends and associates have pretty well made the undertaking far more trouble than it was ever worth, with a little help from the general lameness of the original product, of course. I say we declare victory and let the rats fight over the debris.

I wonder if there ever will be a 'teachable moment' where the dronies and the ARCsters would sit around and share a beer. Talk amongst ourselves and such...

I know Tomi would be right fun there and she'd be sure to bring a great music mix with her.

I believe that one lesson I learned, in addition to the unfortunate negative proofs we all (mostly all of us, that is) finally concluded with, is the utter failure of the admittedly great story that was spun - complete with innovative supporting language, photos, scans, manual pages, narratives, and so on - to achieve anything lasting.

More and more the meme became less of science and more purely entertainment.

As good as this saga may have been, it still was just not entertaining enough to survive - either on its own or as used by commercial interests.

Witness the cancellation of the Sarah Connor Chronicles, the uselessness of the meme/LAP for continued effective advertising by Alienware, and so on...

Slick eye candy alone and a good storyline cannot pass muster for even the demands of modern day advertising - viral or otherwise.

Someone next time needs to come up with something much, much better.

How about the truth next time before 2012 rolls around, folks?
